The Swedish Institute invites you to an interactive network event with South Asian change-makers and some of Sri Lanka’s most interesting organisations with solutions to some pinpointed challenges.

In this year’s leadership programme Young Connectors of the Future (YCF), the youth leaders and human rights advocates from Afghanistan, Bangladesh, India, Nepal, Pakistan and Sri Lanka have worked together with local organisations, institutions and startupsstart-ups to find solutions to some defined challenges. This interactive mingle event is organised by the Swedish Institute, a government agency under the Swedish Ministry for Foreign Affairs. The leadership programme Young Connectors of the Future (YCF) aims to strengthen young leaders in South Asia in their work for an equal and sustainable society by giving them tools, methods and a powerful network. All participants are experts in their field, and there are now some 200 young leaders in an active alumni network. The 29 participants of this year’s programme come from Afghanistan, Bangladesh, India, Nepal, Pakistan and Sri Lankaand the training is conducted during three weeks in Sweden (3-21 September 2018) and one week in Sri Lanka (25 February – 2 March 2019).
